Important problem of modern science is the question of the contents and interpretation of the concepts "service", "service activity", "sociocultural service". This question found the special importance in modern Russian culture, in connection with development of service economy, active introduction in a scientific turn of the term "service", but thus terminological disagreements in its definition and the contents.
